VeriScreen Receives NAPBS Accreditation Status

VeriScreen has typically been considered the gold standard  in affordable housing screening.  However, we are finding that a lot of employment screening prospects have been wanting the quality of services that we provide.  Therefore, VeriScreen applied for and  was issued the coveted NAPBS Accreditation status on it’s first attempt.  Our current CEO helped develop the program years ago but never actually applied for it because the majority of VeriScreen’s business was in affordable housing and subjected to stringent compliance requirements by the credit bureaus and HUD.   Only about 10% of background screening companies have been awarded the NAPBS Accreditation status since inception.  We were excited to become the latest company to do so.  Thankfully, it did not require us to do anything different than we have been doing for the last 22 years.  The compliance and quality of our screening has always exceeded the credit bureaus’ and NAPBS’ standards.
